| - Ahhhhh spending my second night in my new apartment with some roaches and rat poop! & lots of it! New apartment (which had an eviction notice and changed locks on it 2 weeks prior to moving in) was not cleaned nor exterminated. Which I am confused by bc no one was living in my apartment for weeks as well as them not letting me move in on the 1st bc they "don't allow move ins on weekends" and it was "also being renovated" and also didn't pro rate me that day?
Here's the good stuff:
There's bloody boogers on my bedroom wall (multiple places), hair balls from the previous tenant stuck to my molding in the bathroom and bedroom, mold all over my shower, roaches crawling out from my shower, rat poop, BIG AND A TON all inside and under my stove and fridge, red spots on the toilet which leads me to believe someone vomited and didn't clean throughly. Cleaning an and exterminating an apartment before move in isn't a privilege, it's done for sanitary reasons. If my prev tenant had HIV, best believe I'm not touching her red spot on the toilet, hair on the molding or bloody boogers on the wall.
When signing the lease agreement they make it CLEAR that if you encounter roaches and mold and bed bugs it is YOUR FAULT. Bc you are NOT A SANITARY PERSON. Well I don't think I can attract any of these infestations only being in the apartment for 2 days??
I'd attach the awesome pics I took but idk how to on yelp, but the office will certainly be seeing them tomorrow, and will keep y'all updated if I terminate my lease or not :)
