  • NASTY! What a filthy Hotel. The lounge looks great amidst mass construction, but the room was a nightmare. First they got my room reservation wrong. I had booked a king suite and it was confirmed, however I was placed in a king room and our reservation reflected a king room. Error 1. The supervisor is unapologetic and Incredibly condescending. We had to call customer care but was told they were sold out that weekend. We were grateful that we had a room, so we just accepted the situation. However the next day when there was sunlight and all lights in the room we're on I noted a green blob next to the painting, upon further observation it turned out to be green mucus AKA snot. I noticed brown spots on the wall that was strewn across the length of the wall to the floor... it had been there that long that it was solidified and seemed to be absorbed into the wall. I was already leaving for my spa appointment so I decided not to address it until I returned... because I would atleast be out of the disgusting room. When I returned from the spa I went to close the room door behind me and there on the wall to the right was toilet paper stuck above the door well above 8feet. I was horrified and had my bf call down to the desk to have the manager take a look at the room. A supervisor came to the room with housekeeping and he was very professional and looked at the areas of concern. Housekeeping unfortunately was very submissive and silent which made for a very awkward conversation (as she stood with her hands clasped infront of her and her head bowed. It was upsetting and hurtful to watch)I didn't want to place blame on that person, especially as there are different shifts and she may have never dealt with our room before. So I didn't feel she had to listen to our complaint. The manager should never have brought her, he should have dealt with the situation himself. We were thankfully moved rooms, but I can safely say I will never ever stay in this hotel again. I was told that the owner owns this hotel and the Westin/Weston Hotel in that area. I will do everything in my power to evade both these facilities. No fridge, no option to rent a fridge. No water. No alcohol served on the room service menu. Very limited, very sad 2 page room service menu. Ugly furniture that shows every spec of dust. Site under construction... Air conditioning was ancient and looked as though it would break down any minute. You also had no ability to actually decrease the temperature so that it wasn't a sweltering 22-26 degrees in the room... The only saving grace to this entire experience was the spa and the amazing staff at the spa. But they have nothing to do with the hotel and are entirely owned by someone else. So my advice to you is go for the spa... but don't stay at that hotel.
