I came to Carmon's for a small birthday dinner with my girls and I and I definitely didn't regret it.
We had reservations and were seated right away. However, we eyed the small enclave booth and asked on a whim if we could be moved there. To our delight, they shifted us there without a fuss. This might have been because it was a relatively slow night for them, but either way, we were appreciative.
I had my absolute favorite savory crepe: the smoked Amish ham with Gruyère cheese, caramelized onions and apple chutney. Oh. So. Good. I'm normally not a fan of cheese, but this Gruyère balances out the saltiness of the ham really well. The apple chutney adds a dash of sweetness to the mix and all the flavors just meld in your mouth to a wordless sound of pleasure. Highly recommended!
