  • This place is the WORST. Last night we went to pick up a blender for 150$. We called ahead to let them know we were on our way because it was close to closing time. They said they'd put the blender away for us. We arrive at 7:55 (they close at 8) and the doors are locked. We knock on the door and they ignore us until 8pm at which point they inform us they can't let us in because it was closed. We had already been outside five minutes with employees dodging eye contact and pretending we weren't there. The manager Thomas was very rude about the whole exchange. So today we go back for the blender and they've raised the price to 250$ because they knew we were interested. We tried to negotiate the price down to 200$ because there were pieces missing and we had driven across town twice at this point. Thomas was incredibly rude and said the price was non negotiable. Non negotiable??? It's a fricken pawn shop! His tone was condescending and unprofessional. Thomas definitely didn't care about our business and I don't understand how he became manager because our cashier Nicholas had much better people skills. Nicholas was very helpful and tried several times to help us negotiate the price with the manager but it seems Thomas has a hard on for being rude and losing business. Which is exactly what he did. After two days and over 40 miles of driving we didn't get the blender. Don't waste your time at this pawn shop.
