  • I have passed by this theater for the last several years, but never went in because it always looked run down and was never playing any movies that interested me. Yesterday, there was finally a movie playing that looked interesting, Seven Psychopaths. When we walked in to the theater we immediately noticed the 1950's decor, which instantly takes you back in time. You are able to buy bottled beer and wine. The concession stand prices are similar to other movie theaters an they have deals throughout the week. The theaters are very small and the seats are worn and uncomfortable. There are newer and nicer theaters down the street. However, It is nice to have a local theater that is not playing all the mainstream Hollywood garbage and cares about the art of film. On a side note, I enjoyed doing a little bar hopping down lee rd. before/after the movie. Overall a nice change up to the everyday movie theater experience.
