  • WHY am I the only person to ever review My Favourite Ice Cream Shoppe?!?!?!? Well let me start by telling you that it IS my favourite ice cream shop in Calgary. The minute you walk in you're transported into an 'ice cream world'. With ice cream memorabilia EVERYWHERE, an ouber friendly staff, crowds of avid ice cream eaters, and a grand piano upon which you can earn your ice cream, My Favourite Ice Cream Shoppe is a gem in our city. Established in 1981, and serving Calgarians 80 different flavours of ice cream (Mud Pie, Kit Kat, Bat Black Licorice and Wet Paint, just to name a few), this place sets the ice cream bar VERY high. If you're not an ice cream fanatic, then you can indulge in chocolate covered bananas, floats, milkshakes, malts, hot dogs, pizza pops, Jamaican Meat Patties, popcorn, pastries or burritos. Something for EVERYONE. What's the moral of the story you ask? Spring is here - GET HERE (Doors open April 1st).
