| - "Pretty Please" learn some business etiquette! So, I'm leaving White House Black Market tonight and see this new boutique that opened in a storefront that have obviously been hexed because nothing can stay open in it. It is 7:10 pm, every other store in the strip mall is open, the lights are on and a woman is standing at the cash register. Silly me for thinking they would be open and oh, say, maybe wanting to sell something. I go in, start looking around, and another woman comes in this rather small store from the back and says loudly to the salesperson "Uh, you know, we're supposed to be closed". HELLO! I'm five feet away from you! I can hear you! The sales clerk comes up and ask if she can help and says that they actually closed 10 minutes ago. Now, if you had just opened a business in this crappy economy, wouldn't you be grateful for any customers? I know I would be and I would make damn sure that every customer felt welcomed and knew how much I appreciated them. Especially if I was selling overpriced knock-off crap that you can find anywhere. Why wouldn't you wait the 5 minutes it would take for me to look around and ask me to return when there was more time? Reader's Digest version- rude, thoughtless, unwelcoming store w/crappy, overpriced merchandise. Don't bother. It will probably be closed before you can finish reading this review.
