Many of locks were stiff and hard to open despite having the right code. The dry erase marker didn't work at all. Too many clues given that weren't requested and the game master seemed to be behind on where we were in the game when we did ask for a clue, offering information we had already passed several minutes prior. The biggest annoyance was the background music playing on the screen. Very distracting. Also, most other escape rooms have audio pick ups in the room so you only have to speak aloud to ask for clues plus the game master can stay more on top of your progress and not waste time trying to catch up on what you've already solved. The walkie talkie was just cumbersome and a time waster. The room wasn't as immersive as other places we've been. Some of the reveals were cool, such as the lighted box when the skull was place on the wall map. The string board was a nice idea but the numbers you made were difficult to read (was that a 5? 2? 7?). Overall I would rate this escape room as average. We've been to several others and this was kind of in the middle as far as the experience, attention to detail, and quality of the props and puzzles. Probably wouldn't come back any time soon as we've already experience better places.
