  • The original location, and truly a magical sandwich. Italian bread, fresh. Topped with vinegar and black pepper cole slaw Topped with whatever meat you desire, grilled up hot. Topped with a handfull of fresh cut french fries. Topped off with provolone cheese. TO DIE FOR!!! This is the Pittsburgh Institution and quite possibly what the city should be known for. Back in the college days, we used to show up at 3am to get one of these sandwiches so drunk we were seeing quadruple yet when we woke up we felt fine. Remarkable.
