First time here, I was a little hesitant because I'd been disappointed by Lola, but the friend I was dining with wanted to try a Michael Symon restaurant. The interior had dim lighting and dark wood but remained inviting and intimate. Service was surprisingly prompt, given the other reviews. We started with venison carpaccio, which was delicate and delicious. The citrus and pomegranate seeds were a perfect complement. My hanger steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicate, and the Gorgonzola fondue added the perfect touch of salt and creamy, earthy flavor without being overwhelming. This was one of the best steaks I've had in awhile! Lolita's reputation is well deserved, and I can't wait to go back again!
