| - Honestly, this is 2 star, BUT, 2 star means I've had better and I've never had veitnamese before. I got the #9, and as stated, I've never had their food, I dont remember what it was called, other than the veggie sandwich. Someone from school had s sandwich from them yesterday that smelled delicious, so I bookmarked it immediately and decided to come today. I'm disappointed. I heard from a lot of people that vietnamese food offers lots of veggie options and it's delicious. I was NOT impressed at all. I order the veggie sandwich and it's $3.25, sweet! They tell me it's an extra $1 since my order is under $10 (LAME!). I agreed because I really wanted to try it. The lady comes out less than a second later with my sandwich. It looks NOTHING, NOTHING like the picture. I said, where are the greens? She says, Oh you want vegetables....UUUGGGHHHH. I said yes, and she came back with a sandwich that looked more like what was in the picture. So, there's this weird brown stringy stuff that she claims is mushrooms....weird. But my sandwich smells OK, so I decide to stop being a baby and just eat it. It had weird flavors. The cucumber seemed to be soaked in some sort of vinegar concoction I didnt care for. There was too much cilantro for my taste. I just couldn't wrap my head around. I did like the bread. It had a nice crunch although not much more to it. I definitely wont come here again by myself. I'd have to bring a vietnamese person to explain to them what I want. I know it's in Chinatown and all, but someone there should speak english. More than, you want vegetables (Hello! I ordered a veggie sandwich!) Maybe it's the communication, but I wasn't impressed. If you love vietnamese food, I dont think you'd like this place, but it's a 4 star on YELP, so maybe it was just what I ordered.
