  • Found out through my local homeschool group that they open AZ on the Rocks occasionally for homeschool families. We had never tried any kind of rock climbing before so my 7 year old son and I headed over to check it out. We were very pleasantly surprised by what an awesome facility this is. First off, it's huge. Plenty of climbing space for a lot of people. Second, the staff is amazing. Everyone was friendly and incredibly helpful! Third, I want to thank AZ on the Rocks for offering this affordable opportunity to homeschoolers. I have found many places charge a lot more for us than they would regular school groups and this makes it difficult for us to have field trips a lot of the time. Not only is this a 'field trip' but a great gym/PE session and we all had a blast. We are all very much looking forward to the next time we get to come back.
