I caught strep in Denver and flew back to Vegas earlier this week. This was the only 24 hour urgent care that was open and takes my insurance. After reading all the Yelp reviews I was a little scared, but luckily my experience was not bad.
The two receptionists were efficient and courteous, despite some patients being rude to them. Remember its not always their fault, you try dealing with the public, lol.
40 minutes went by and I was called back to check my vitals and see what is wrong with me, then I was sent back to wait in the waiting room.
60 minutes and I was finally called to see the doctor. Once in the room I was seen by a lovely Physicians Assistant, she diagnosed me right away and talked about medicine options. They electronically sent my Rx to my pharmacy and I was on my way.
Yes, it took 2 hours to finally be seen, but I rather wait 2 hours and get what I need, than wait another day to see someone. IT IS WHAT IT IS. Make sure to have your phone fully charged and a book to keep you entertained.
