| - We've been going to the Border Grill for brunch for years and love it! We typically always go to new restaurants as there are so many to try, but the fact that we keep coming back here is a testament to how great the experience is!
If you're coming from outside Mandalay, the best drop off point is by the Shark Reef.
We normally sit by the bar which always has open tables and makes it closer to the bottomless mimosas :)
The food is great! So much variety in Mexican tapas. Unlike a buffet, this food comes out fresh. Some of my favorites are the green corn tamale, skirt steak and egg (my only small complaint would be that I always order this well done and it comes out medium rare...they're great about fixing it though), and chilaquiles.
If you like mimosas, you have to try the bottomless ones here. I think they have about 12 different flavors at anytime and they're very unique: strawberry coconut, blackberry ginger, passion fruit, prickly pear, etc. be careful as they can sneak up on you though!
There are lots of places in Vegas with good food and drinks, but what really sets this place apart is the service. Melody is usually the manager during brunch and she always remembers us, even if it's been awhile since our last visit. She always makes the time to check in and is so friendly! We miss Chelsea at the bar, but Matthew waited on us for the first time and was also great. He brought us some things to try that we didn't order and they were great choices.
If it's been awhile since you've been there, they now have a station where they make salads and a few other things. A salad is one of the items Matthew brought us and it was really good.
Melody suggested we come back for dinner sometime as they have the similar small plates concept. We're looking forward to that!
Go check out Border Grill. You won't be disappointed!
