Maybe I just had that exception of an experience with Almond Tree. This was a place I was recommended to go to find my wedding dress. I walked in with my mom and grandma and we were casually greeted.. my first impression was that the pictures made this place look nicer than in real life. I'm okay with consignment but the girl assisting me tried to dress me in some awful dresses that had a stain on it, that were way off from my size so much that it didn't even look remotely pretty.. there was no way I could visualize any amazing dress. I am not somebody that wants to go dress shopping for my wedding where I felt was a little dirty. I saw ants in the dressing room.. so weird because this is a nice location. I very quickly told the very young girl who was helping dress me that I wasn't going to look any further. If she was the person assisting me then her dress knowledge should have been more up to par, she was friendly but not experienced enough to make me feel like I was getting help from somebody in the wedding industry.. so anyways I may have had the one experience that was unfortunate but this place was not my cup of tea. I ended up searching Yelp and found Lillian Lottie Couture. They said I'm welcome to stop in. I'm writing my next review for them because they were amazing. I had three women help me and made me feel gorgeous trying on dresses. From selection, to the display of the business it was a 10. I found my dress and I am so happy that I did but I am still a little surprised that Almond Tree fell below my expectation
