I disagree!
What? Disagree about some negative reviews for Best Buy. Disagree with Consumer Reports' comments about pricing.
Recently I had a major hassle with Home Depot delivery for an electric clothes dryer.
Could not get them to accomodate my work schedule. Cancelled the order. A month later and almost an hour spent on the phone with Home Depot, I still have not received a credit for the cancelled order. Takes "up to six weeks" to investigate.
In the meantime I placed the order with Best Buy online/Monroeville store. Very easy to order for the same price, quickly setup a convenient delivery... and receive the order on time at my home. No problems at all.
Tonight I needed a Vonage Digital Phone Service Box. Best Buy in Monroeville had the item in-stock for a much better price than Vonage. No delivery fees. No delivery delays. Picked the item up in the store less than an hour after ordering.
Stupid me: after ordering a 5 unit Panasonic cordless phone system from an online company, I checked with Best Buy Monroeville. Yes, they had the phone in-stock and for less money than my online order from someone else. I could have installed the complete system tonight. Live and learn.
Try Best Buy. I cannot speak for the associates, but my online/pickup-in-the-store experiences have been very good.
