  • I wish there was a -3 rating. I noticed my temperature was different than the scheduled temperature setting. I wish I'd read the previous posts, but I was leaving for work so scheduled for this company to show up later in the afternoon. The tech shows up and says, "Based on what you told me, you need a new thermostat." He never went to see the HVAC unit - he was basing it off of what I said. I'm not an HVAC expert. I called another company and they DID check the unit. I have a leak in the motor. I'm going with the second company for sure. I'm getting the motor replaced. Do NOT use Cool Air. What a joke. How can you deduce what the issue is if you don't look at the unit?????????
