Stopped by on a Saturday, pleasant atmosphere not much in the way of art but signatures of those that had been at the place. Ordered the chicken, with black eye peas, mustard mixed greens and fried okra. It was great, food was really hot and the server was good. The server Carlos came around often asking about drink refills, I even inquired about the Oxtails which I have never had, they brought out a sample and it was really good.I'm not sure why there are numerous 1 or 2 stars but I thought the food was good. The building has been around for a long time and not modern but it doesn't matter when the food is this good. At least my opinion!
