There sign says "Southern Comfort Food", but being raised in the south and living off of southern food, this is not it. The macaroni and cheese was a very small step above Kraft mac n cheese. The only difference was the cheese sauce tasted a little better than Kraft. If you're going to be a southern restaurant, you must know how to cook a good mac n cheese. And that is not just noodles with a cheese sauce. You have to have some eggs, sharp cheddar, milk and other stuff to get that done. The mashed potatoes were WAY too garlic'y. The southern fried chicken was barely breaded and I've had a lot better chicken at KFC. I got the apple crisp for dessert by checking in on Yelp and the best part of that was the ice cream. There was no crisp to it, just a soggy top and apples with vanilla ice cream on top.
