  • This apartment complex is a joke. "Under New Management" is supposed to mean they are changing & for the better. I moved in January. After meeting all ridiculous requirements and filling out all the unnecessary papers- I moved in thinking I was going to be so pleased. I had looked online & viewed the apartment in advance. It seemed perfect. As soon as I settled in- the problems began. 1st- roaches and bugs are inevitable. They have on site extermination available but it is not pet safe so people with pets at home cannot utilize this feature. I have used countless products and keep a very clean house but still the bugs appear. I have seen a handful (not an infestation) but it is clear that all apartments are riddled with them. 2nd- the price you see is not what you pay. I was told upon moving in that a deposit cannot be greater than one months rent regardless of credit (about $900 for a 2bd) and I ended up paying almost double that. 3rd- they advertise that they are "fully remodeled"- having a father as a contractor, I know that these people spent as little as they possibly could upgrading these. Everything is put together so terribly it falls apart. The kitchen cabinets aren't even new- they just put new cabinet doors on and painted over them. The paint is not even throughout the cabinets inside you can see where they stopped painting. The shower rod was barely secured and not done with the correct screws so after a few hot showers the rod began to quite literally sink off of the wall. My cabinet broke completely off the hinge When I tried to pull it open gently one afternoon. The bath tub was PAINTED OVER. Making it a weird eggshell texture that is very difficult to keep clean clearly this paint is for walls. 4th- When I moved in parking was open and on a first come first served basis. They soon changed to having reserved spots for an additional $15 per month. I immediately wanted to get one and went to talk to my office- I was told they dont have any more plaques for reserved parking so they are making a wait list until they get more. Well I have been on this wait list for months. I live in the front of the complex and am very fortunate to get a spot within a 10 minute walking distance ( no I'm not exaggerating) from my apartment because all the spots are taken. Being a single woman working 2 jone and working late hours it is very daunting having such a far distance to walk. 5th & final point I have to make- not too long ago I was at work and was told by my roommate that he was woken up to people barging in the front door and shouting "maintenance". They then proceeded to say they were performing some routine cable Installation- which I did not order nor did I want. So I immediately call my complex and ask what is going on and they said oh it's complex wide and we left notices on the door in advance ( which I had never received and regularly check my mail and door) and so I brushed it off. Then after returning home from work- all of my belongings were moved my furniture displaced and my entire closet thrown around. Again, this is not an exaggeration. I called the complex the next morning again trying to get to the bottom of things- they said we are sorry we passed out notices and I said well I never got one- and apparently they needed access to the baseboards to lay cable lines so they had to move furniture. The apartment offered me zero explanation or consolation. In my opinion this is completely unacceptable. I'm required by lease to list my work phone cell phone alternate address alternate contact email and every other possible piece of personal information- and they cannot send out an email, text, or make a phone call, or God forbid put a notice in a mail box where it will actually be looked at by residents. And it is another issue that they did not even replace my furniture. I have a large queen size bed and I am a small single woman, I cannot move a majority of these things on my own so you can imagine the distress at having to re arrange everything after just moving in. Overall this apartment complex is a poor excuse for a habitable community. If it weren't so costly to break my lease I would have moved out already. Living at home with parents is better than these ghetto, mismanaged, overpriced apartments. I would not recommend living here at all.
