I'm giving this 2-stars because 1-star ratings should be reserved for finding something disgusting in your food or experiencing offensive service.
However, that's pretty much the only redeeming part about this place. That it's decently clean and the service wasn't horrible.
I got two bagel sandwiches and a cup of coffee and somehow paid $17. Okay. Maybe if these were New York level bagels I'd consider this reasonable, but the bagels tasted like cardboard, the eggs were rubbery and I was charged $1 for a slice and a half of a tomato. Not a nice, farmer's market tomato. A slice and a half of a tomatoes you would get at Subway. And then he charged me 50c for mayo. Mind you. I asked for just an egg, tomato, mayo and cheese sandwich. He said they didn't offer that so instead of just ringing me up for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and swapping out the ingredients, he rang me up for that and then upcharged me! The kicker? It was the owner who did this.
Honestly, I'd rather eat McDonald's breakfast than go back here. And I haven't eaten there in years. I live one block away and will walk 8 blocks from now on to get a bagel from Bruegger's instead.
