| - An unexpected pleasure. I decided to try out this place on a whim when I needed to kill some time and I will definitely pop in again. $10 for a day pass if you are staying here, $22 if not - great bargain compared to a lot of the other spas on the strip. This spa was recently remodeled and everything is pretty new and clean...and unlike every single spa I've gone to on the Strip so far, THE TEMPERATURES WERE CORRECT. GOLD STAR!!
The steam room and sauna (170 degrees) were perfect. The whirlpool was acceptable, I would have been okay with a little hotter, but still good - it felt like maybe 100-102 ish. The cold pool is just cool, not icy (which is fine with me, but some prefer icy cold plunge pools). The spa can comfortably hold about 6-8 people, IMO, so it's a little small. The decor and atmosphere is very spartan and dull. The amenities are minimal - just apples, oranges, and plain water in the lounge, some minimal low-end body and bath stuff in the shower area. So that's why not five stars. I liked that the air was cool and refreshing, not hot and muggy, so you could actually cool off between areas, and the robe was good material, it didn't get sodden and unusable after getting damp. So, yeah, overall, very satisfied.
