  • This is quite simply a money making operation at least if you're under the "care" of dr Cynthia Jordan. My husband and I have been going to this office for over 2 years now and have never been able to see the great and wonderful dr Jordan. Instead we've always been scheduled to see the PA Kristen Sharma, who is now no longer there. If you plan on becoming a patient of dr Jordan you should understand that you will most likely never actually see her but will see whoever is her PA at the moment. You willl also need to be able to understand that while your health and well being isn't important enough for her to actually ever even speak to you or look at your chart, it is important enough to her that you will need to be seen at a minimum of every 6 months for your maintenance scripts to be refilled. I can no longer be held hostage by her money first policy. My husband has been on blood pressure meds for over 20 years now and his life is at risk if he goes without them for even one dosage. Never before has he been required by any doctor to be seen more then once yearly to have his medications refilled. But that is not the case with this doctor. Dr. Jordan sees an opportunity to hold people hostage to get their life saving medications. If you want them you need to come in and pay an office visit to get the scripts. I was actually told by the staff member that "it's only a quick 15 minute appointment to get your scripts refilled". Wow, a quick 15 minute appointment, that's it huh?! Take a couple hours off of work, pay $180 at the front desk, let the nurse weigh you, take your temperature and blood pressure, let the PA look in your ears and nose with the scope and then when they're all done pretending that your health and well being is their utmost priority they'll get on their laptop and submit new scripts to the pharmacy for you. ( Don't get me started on the aggravation of adding new scripts for the same meds to your pharmacy profile every 6 months instead of just approving the refills from the previous ones). Now do you really think they learned anything more about you that would prevent them from refilling your blood pressure or antidepressants? No, of course not! All they did was create an invoice and send you out the door a couple hundred bucks poorer. Not to mention now you need your hurry back to work and stay a couple hours longer to make up for the time lost for that crap show! The cardiologist who is the expert on cardiovascular health only needs to see my husband once a year to evaluate his health and prescribe his meds. My husband will only go to him from now on for his blood pressure meds. We will find another general practitioner for our other needs. No more hostage payoffs to doc Cynthia for our medications. That's quite a racket she's got going in there! If I could give a negative 5 stars for this review I surely would!
