| - My wife and I stopped here for dinner tonight, and things started off fine - good service and decent drinks at the bar. Then, we were seated, only a few minutes past our reservation. The waiter came over fairly timely, but started off fairly surly. He wouldn't make a recommendation. Then as we perused the menu, he disappeared for nearly 15 minutes. When he finally came back we ordered the New York strip and the butternut squash salad. The salad came out fairly quickly, and was tasty. We then proceeded to wait for over 20 minutes for our steak. The steak, which was supposed to be 10.5 ounces, was no more than 8, had not been trimmed so the grill had curled all the fat, and the steak was clearly medium, not medium rare as we had ordered. It was not well seasoned. The brussels sprouts, which were supposed to be cooked with onion and bacon, had neither onion nor bacon, and only about half of them were cooked. The waiter came back and checked once or twice while we were eating, but was hardly warm and fuzzy, and made no effort to make things right for our long wait. (By the time we received our steak, we had been in the restaurant for over an hour.) All said, a disappointing date night...
