| - Have had both good and bad experiences at Cheval. Went there after bar hopping at a couple of places in Toronto before deciding that I wanted to do bottle service. So we get here and there's a bit of a line to get in. Of course I walk ahead of everyone and tell the bouncer that I want to get a bottle. He looks on his list and is not sure if he has any more VIP areas ready. Well. There are two VIP places left and since there is only 2 people, it is literally a tiny table and 2 chairs. But whatever, we get to cut ahead of people and get our coats checked in for free and booze. The table was one of those higher seated tables where it's more of a standing table. The table was located along one of the walls right by the dance floor which was really cool because I could grab whoever I wanted right off the dance floor while sitting down and pour them a drink while they continued to dance next to me while I was still sitting.
So a bottle of Belvedere and Goose were the most expensive vodka's on the menu and I think they ran me in the high $200's. Don't really remember though. I was pretty drunk when I tabbed out. But anyways, the girls in this club are very attractive and really friendly. I guess if you're getting Belvedere redbulls for free, you'd be pretty friendly too. Also, the waitress kept checking up on us and kept pouring us drinks even though there were only 2 of us.
The layout of this club is horrendous. The club is really narrow and they stick the bathrooms all the way at the back. (back as in near the entrance which is not near the street.) So if you get a table near King, you have to walk through the people on the dance floor, then through the people at the bar, then through the people entering the club.
Bad experience. After getting annihilated another night, we decided to got to Cheval and get bottles. Get there and as I'm telling the bouncer that I want to get bottles, he asks me how much I've had to drink. I say I've had about 12 drinks which I guess is not a good thing. We've already polished off an entire bottle of goose at a different club/lounge as well as multiple shots of tequila. So of course in my mind, 12 is a good number because I'm really more around 18-20 drinks deep. Well. The bouncer says I'm too drunk and won't let us in. I am getting bottle service for crying out loud. Are you serious? He doesn't even ask his manager. This is ridiculous. I've finished a bottle of vodka before going out to clubs and getting more bottles of vodka. And if I can say that I've only had 12 drinks even though I've had 18-20, then I think I can handle a little more alcohol. Or at least enough to spend $275 on a bottle.
Came back here another night with a friend and 3 girls (2 blondes, 1 brunette) who I had met at a different club a little while back who wanted to party with me. Well. The girls are really hot and I ended up calling ahead and negotiating for 2 bottles. Yes. I had to negotiate for 2 bottles. Well. It really wasn't too hard because I told them that there were only 5 of us and 3 of them were girls so it was pointless to get more bottles. So that got them to 2 bottles real fast. Well. They decide to throw us in the very back and I say no immediately because I want to be close to the dance floor. They start giving me a little heat but I tell them that I have no problems leaving so they give me a booth closer to the middle of the dance floor. The waitress was really cool and checked up on us quite a bit. She did a couple shots with us later in the night.
The girls loved being here and my friend got so drunk he had to leave at 1 or else he would not survive later. I didn't really go around talking to other girls that night but I didn't help noticing a couple of very attractive ones. But if you have 3 really hot girls fighting for your attention, you're not gonna really pay the other girls any notice.
