  • Despite a number of warnings from friends, we decided to give The Commoner a try. Unfortunately, we'll never know about the food or drink because none of the three people huddled behind the hostess stand would acknowledge our existence. After a few minutes of standing there, we left and ate elsewhere. There is something terribly wrong with the culture of a restaurant in which the staff is so blatantly ignorant. Save yourself the aggravation and walk on by The Commoner. T
