This review only applies to the pharmacy at this Walmart location.
As I'm hurtling towards middle-age I'm having to visit the local drugstore more often than I used to. Something on me hurts, something on/in me doesn't work as well as it used to, somethings need raising, other things need lowering and at times chemical intervention provides a helping hand.
Now I've never been a fan of Walmart in general. Going to their stores gives me a headache (the harsh lighting doesn't help) and always have to decide if the money I'm going to save is offset by the inevitable rise in blood pressure I'll experience. That said I have discovered that at least for pharmaceuticals their prices can't be beat.
Stopped by yesterday for a refill and of the 100 pills prescribed they could only fill 44. The other medication they didn't have in stock at all. Both of which are common drugs and have never had a problem getting them filled at other pharmacies. This seems to common as I've had it happen before. Yes they can order them and will only take a day or so to get in but its annoying to have to make multiple trips.
