  • Las Vegas, the city of lights, sin, and..BUFFETS! The hungrier you are the better. Wicked Spoon is one of LV's newest buffets in the Cosmopolitan and since I've been to others on the strip before, it was time for a taste test. And for $42 a head for dinner on a weekday, the price wasn't so bad. The buffet consisted of: -Appetizers: cocktail shrimp, ceviche, ahi tuna poke -Crab legs! -Meat area: prime rib, beef ribs, bone marrow (!), Grilled chicken and sausage -Eastern food: Cantonese bbq meats and not so impressive sushi -Pasta and pizza: lobster mac and some raviolis -customized seafood soup bar -Salad bar + cheese and meat -Desserts: ice cream, cakes, macarons, chewy cookies My favorites from there were the carne asada tacos, prime rib, and ahi tuna appetizer. And for dessert, the Thai tea ice cream was amazing as the other flavors. But for the most part I've had better buffets. And if you are a lover of sushi and other Asian foods, this place probably ain't for you. Although the wait to get in was slow and took a long while, once we got in the service proved to be better. Our waiter was quick on his feet and cleared our table of dirty dishes while making sure our drinks were kept filled to the rim. Like all LV buffets, the ambiance was nice and modern. A 3.5 is a more suitable rating for Wicked Spoon. By adding fancier meats (like steak!!) and mastering their current dishes/desserts (especially that lobster mac, bleh!), They'll be able to join the big leagues alongside Caesar's and Bellagio's buffet one day.
