| - Stayed here for four nights in July.
Arrived at the Euclid Ave entrance and was told we had to enter the other side due to a private event. Apparently, a wedding and reception was booked for the floor of the arcade. Nice location. Anyway, checked in to a third floor room facing W. Superior Ave, went out for dinner and a walk, came back and the reception was still going strong, with a live rock band. The noise stopped promptly at 11:00pm, as promised by the hotel desk.
Location is a convenient walking distance to all three major sporting venues and The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The fitness center is adequate, but the business center only has one computer.
I was disappointed that the room did not have any complimentary self brewed coffee machine.
On our last night there, the fire alarm went off not once, not twice, not three times, but four times between 4:00am and 6:00am. I thought it was a drunk baseball fan pulling the fire alarm switch, but upon checkout was told it was a computer glitch because the elevators were not running.
Anyway, upon checkout, I found out that the room I was staying in was a city view upgrade, which I had requested via email. However, I was not told of the upgrade upon check-in, as was supposed to happen. (By the way, a third floor view of The Cleveland Public Library across the street should NOT be considered a city view). Anyway, they waived the upgrade fee due to the fire alarm fiasco.
Other than that, no complaints.
