I don't usually leave reviews, but my experience here was so good, that I felt I needed to share.
We were recently in town for a few days and I was hoping to find a place to get a quick fill with a gel manicure. I found the Tokyo Nail Bar to be a short walk from our hotel. Just as the other reviews have mentioned, there are only two stations, so the maximum capacity is four at a time. Because of the limited space, timing your visit can make a difference. I first went on Sunday and was told there would be a one hour wait, but when I returned on Monday I got helped immediately.
The salon recently started doing acrylics and this was by far the best fill/manicure I've ever received. The attention to detail was impeccable and there was no pain from pushing the nail bed out of the natural position. Even my husband (who never notices my nails) said this was the best my nails have ever looked! It's been a week and my nails look as good as when I left. Amazing!
Some reviewers have commented on the price. I paid $78 plus tip ($48 for single color gel and $30 for the fill) for my services. Yes, it's a little more costly than at home, but you should expect to pay for the services in the resort area and on the Las Vegas Strip - it's comparable to the hotel spas.
It's too bad I don't live closer: I'd visit Kana every single time and highly recommend you see her if you're in the area. I'm looking forward to my next visit!!
