Horrible customer service!! Ordered a side table on September 5, 2016. They said we can pick it up that following Monday which was September 12th. The 12th came and went and no call. So we went in the store and asked if we can pick up the what we ordered and already paid for. NO ONE seems to know what's going on. They didn't even have any clue what we ordered. Even with the receipt in hand they were clueless!! Finally they find the credit card transaction on their deposit slip.
But now here's the unacceptable excuse, that there were no side tables in stock and they were not sure why we were promised there was?? Let me remind you that they withdrew the funds out of our account!! Yet had no knowledge this occurred??!! Anyways, we accepted their mind blowing error. They PROMISED us again that it would be in in October!! That they would give us a call. Today is October 28th.... No Call.
Trust me, the only reason why we gave DOWN EAST the benefit of the doubt is because we truly wanted that piece.
So no phone call no nothing. Made a call today and was put on hold for a long minute. Debbie the manager stated there MAYBE or MAY NOT be an order coming in this coming week!! WTF!!
I'm here getting my refund!! She didn't even seem to give a shit about how unprofessional her store represents DOWN EAST or how bad this looks. No apologies given either! Making this call now:
