  • Another good Yelp-aided restaurant choice in Pittsburgh.... and another hit! Thanks Yelp. It was a nice night in Pittsburgh, so we decided to dine outside on the patio, but the inside looked pretty cool as well. There looked to be a room off the main area for a group dinner party. The food was on point. We started off with fries and an order of "Devils on Horseback". I can't really give a great explanation of what the latter is, but it involves bacon-wrapped dates, cheese, and I believe olives. It made me think "high-end stoner food". I hope that helps. For entree, my wife got the papparedelle bolognese and I got the special, which was a flank steak with a fried egg, bĂ©arnaise sauce and a short rib hash. My dish was delicious.... a bit on the salty side, but very good. The pasta was very good as well. We stuck with wine for our dinner, but the drink menu had a wide variety of cocktails. If that's your thing, I'm sure you'll find something worth trying. The service was just okay. I think our waitress was a bad shift or two away from throwing her apron away.... or maybe she just had a really long night. Recommend!
