  • Trina the Assistant Manager has no customer service skills I bought 2 American Maid rectangle shaped water jugs at $7/each. Then I bought a Primo water jug hand pump $10. I filled the jugs with water. Later when I got home I realized that not only was the Primo hand pump broken already (a tiny clip was broken) but it didn't fit on my rectangular jugs, even though they were displayed on an "end cap" together side by side. I went back to return the jugs and the water and the pump. I was prepared to buy the delux electric pump $25, a primo water jug $14, and a slew of other household goods approximately worth $40. I had with me other random items to return including ranch dressing (it was on the shelf and already opened) and some very bad tasting Great Value protein bars, and some blue light teeth whitening product (works great this is the 2nd kit I've bought, but again it was opened and the whitening solution had been stolen by another consumer). I had no problem returning these items but it was annoying to have to do it. I wanted a refund on the water that was inside the jugs. They were 3 gallon jugs, and I had 2 of them and the cost to fill was just over $1 each. However, I did not have the receipt. It was way across town with my friend who put it on his purchases and I justgave him $2 for. Kimberly wasn't able to do this so I asked for the store manager to explain the situation. Trina The Asst Manager said that I couldn't return the water without a receipt, even though the store decided to display the items on an end cap together: the water jugs and the primo water pumps, even though the water jugs that fit the primo were way on the other side of the store. This was also despite the fact that I had to return two other items that had already been opened; I had to waste a salad because I did not have ranch dressing to use, and I had to go with not so sparkling or white teeth to an event because the kit wasn't complete. Trina refused to offer or honor any type of solution that I came up with. I asked if she could simply take a percentage off my total that would equal $2. She refused to offer a 10% discount on the premium primo hand pump. I said I was unwilling to drive to my friends house across town to get the receipt and drive back to the store to return water. In short, I now Still have two jugs of water and a broken water pump, that don't go together. I don't get to enjoy my water now. Trina's customer service skills were lacking to the point that I decided not to reward your company with my purchase of the premium pump or the premium water jug or any of the other items in my cart, totaling about $90. It appears that Amazon wants my business more than Walmart does. What a shame. Over $2. I'm sure that I'll find something I like more and won't have to deal with an inflexible and unreasonable person that is obviously acting under inane Walmart corporate rules. I'm rooting for Amazon and I spend thousands at Walmart every year. What a shame. Over $2.
