Why does the manor area even still exist?
I had to make a last minute reservation for one night and found a special on Hotels.com thinking I came up. Oh the regrets.
Firstly, when you make a reservation on their site or a third party, you can clearly see the photos they use aren't of the room you get. So right off the bat it's false advertising. Strike 1
The manor is a piece of shit. I paid nearly $130 for a room that looked like a homeless person lived there. The carpet was gross. The bed had strands of hair. The sheets had holes/rips. The bathroom door had holes and blue tape holding together broken pieces. They say there's no smoking, yet the entire area smelled like smoke. The walls are so think that you can legit hear your neighbors showering.
And to add to all that, the location is so meh. If you're staying in building e you end up having to do a lot of walking just to get to the hotel entrance.
Also during my check-in around 11pm on a Saturday night, the staff were all grumpy. I get that you're working the night shift, but jeez at least fake it. They functioned like robots who didn't know how to sympathize.
For a few dollars less, you can stay at Super 8 a few blocks away and be at the heart of the strip.
I used to stay here with my family as a kid. Nostalgia got the best of me. Never again. I'd legit rather sleep in my car than ever set foot in here again.
