| - Wow! If I could give this experience 6 stars I would. This was by far the best experience and best service I have received in years. I would like to first thank Minus5 management and their staff for such a memorably fun evening. You made the experience. I will definitely be back!
Now on to the fun part, the ice experience! So as you walk up to the business front there are 2 enterances. One with a frozen drink bar and one with the entrance to the ice experience lounge.
From the beginning it's made very easy to choose which experience you would like to have from a simple price chart. If you are having an adults only party, there are a couple price options to choose from. One involves a parka and gloves, the other involves a fur coat and gloves. I highly recommend the fur coat and fur hat accessory upgrade! They definitely make it so much more fun.
As you select your experience the staff is very helpful about guiding you through the process of picking out your jackets, gloves and a locker (Its FREE). For the safety of your technology, no electronics are allowed in the ice lounge. So your tech. has a cozy temporary home :)
Next, you're taken to a green screen backdrop where you can create a four image gif that will be sent to your mobile device. You can share it with your friends, family, & social media.
From there you're guided into a Midway room that helps your body to acclimate to the colder temperature. Your guide will stay with you there for a couple of moments to talk you through what to expect if you have never been in the Ice Lounge before. Once you're ready you're guided into the ice experience! Woohooo!
I have to say I was extremely impressed with all the sculptures inside. There's several things to look at and really fun small details to take note of. Two of the most interesting sculptures are by the collaborations that were done with The Mob Museum and Blue Chair Bay by Kenny Chesney. Both entities have different sculptures dedicated to them, along with a desert theme for Las Vegas. The entire room is made of ice from tables to walls to glasses.
Speaking of glasses, tonight we sampled cocktails from their signature menu. I highly recommend the Spicy Pineapple Punch, it taste incredible! Spicey and sweet. We also sampled Frozen Berries and Northern Lights. All cocktails were delicious and specifically crafted so that should they spill they do not stain the ice.
The ice experience lounge is well worth every penny. The team and quality service alone make it worth the trip. Very impressive and a must visit!!
