I went to Michael Mina on a culinary field trip. I thought this place was so cozy and friendly! The décor was very nice and elegant and not stuck up. I ordered the chefs tasting menu. We started off with tuna tar tar with a quail egg on top. They serve it to you with a gorgeous presentation. Then your server mixes it all up for you right in front of your face. It was a neat experience. Then after that they gave you a lobster pot pie. WOW! There were huge chunks of lobsters. It was amazing. I should've just had that as a meal and not just a sample. It was soooo good. The next plate was sliced steak which was good too. Then for dessert they gave you a trio, chocolate chip cookies, with a root beer float and some chocolate. I love how the dessert was fun. The straw was a white chocolate and chocolate striped cigarette. I had so much fun! I would come back here for that lobster pot pie.
