  • I went to Alchemy after a family wedding. I was impressed. If I still lived in Madison, it would certainly be on of my regular haunts. A live bluegrass band was playing, so the atmosphere was upbeat. We had a large group and the staff was able to put together tables for us. The beer list was great. The food was even better. I love it when a neighborhood bar takes the effort to elevate their food. We had a wide assortment of appetizers to share, and everything was much better than your average bar fare.
