  • This was the worst medical experience of my life. The wait time was needlessly long. The doctors were impossible to see, and the nurses/PAs refused to answer any questions without the doctors present, and no one seemed to give a damn about their patients or their practice. I went in for an emergency appendix surgery and it was a full 12 hours of waiting before I was operated on. The surgical nurse didn't get my medical history until the next morning, 8 hours after surgery. The nurses ignored my food allergies and didn't listen when I told them the medication they were giving me wasn't working. Most of the time, it took 5-10 minutes for anyone to respond to my nurse call button, and they were notorious for closing the doors to our rooms so they could walk the hallways without being bothered by patients. None of the nurses seemed to read my chart or know why I was in the hospital. They would leave me strapped into these leg-squeezing bootie things and keep the rails up on my bed so it was impossible for me to even get up to go to the bathroom without calling and waiting for someone to unhook me and let me out. I was treated like an animal. I wouldn't wish this hospital's services on my worst enemy.
