| - Aaaaah, the ol' LJ! I have been going here for a few years. I tend to avoid the Saturday and Sunday morning rush because we live in Wisconsin and I haven't been a fan of the cold weather. However, wanting to eat on Willy St. seems to come with the price of standing and waiting outside more and more these days. Some even say that standing is good for you... we'll see. So, I would love for them to find a way around that use line, and I prefer to tip AFTER I get my services instead of right when I pay, but that's about it for the downsides. LJ has bakery that is amazing and always there to temp you while you are waiting in line, and their food quality is always consistent, which is consistently appreciated. :-) I love me some thick bacon, breakfast potatoes and cheesy grits! There aren't a lot of places that offer up some grits these days, so I have to get them every single time... even if I know that I don't have room in my belly. Lastly, I miss the days when they would call out one's name when your food was ready. They seem to have mainstreamed it with those coaster buzzers. Luckily I wasn't just going there to have someone yell my name out into a restaurant, so I will be okay. Long story short: try it!
