Saw this place featured in an article about Cleveland ice cream locations. Was excited to try it because it looked similar to the "Cookie Monstah" sandwich trucks they have in Boston. What I can tell you is to go ONLY if you are in the area. Don't go out of your way. I like the concept of a cookie sandwich, but Cathy's is subpar at best. We got there at 7pm on a Saturday night (they are open until 1am) and there were only two chocolate chip cookies left and I wasn't going to even waste my time asking for them because they were obviously burned (picture attached). Why they even had those cookies out on display is embarrassing for them. A lot of the other cookies looked similar. My sister and I got sugar cookies and had to specify which two cookies we wanted so that we didn't get burned ones. The ice cream is all sitting in a display with NO labels whatsoever. So then when we were asking the associate what the flavors were, she acted like it was killing her to even talk to us. She was short in her responses, never smiled once. I really want to give this a 2 star rating but the cookie sandwich I ended up getting wasn't really that bad (sugar cookies with cookie dough ice cream). But really...do not go out of your way to come here.
