I am not an art museum person; I usually just glance at the exhibits and hope I can leave soon. However, I really enjoyed walking through the Mattress Factory. I've never seen installation art before, and I found it fascinating. I can't say that every installation caught my attention, but there were some really cool ones--some of my favorite permanent works are "Infinity Dots Mirrored Room" (Yayoi Kusama), "Pleidaes" (James Turrell), and "Trace of Memory" (Chiharu Shiota) which is in its own building a couple blocks away. Definitely check out the museum if you're in the area! They offer half-price admission when they're changing their temporary exhibits.
