Sadly upset Alta Vista, I came in on a Thursday morning due to my dog having seizures and not feeling well. I'm conscious that he's old and has been on medication for his condition, I went in with an open mind that it might be time to put him down as he had been getting 2-3 seizures per hour. They have his medical file and know his background they immediately suggested more blood work, run tests, etc, I've been here plenty of time with him I was shocked they wanted to run more tests and didn't advice me to put him down, the last time I left they told me his condition was not treatable just preventive meds could be given. Now they said leave him here for a couple of days (4) and shame on me for knowing the answer was going to be "he's old and it's inevitable". Sure enough they call me on Saturday afternoon that he's not progressing and that I should consider a (neurologist tons of money$2500+) or putting him down. Hardest and saddest decision in my life at 26 years old. Oh and the best part was a $1500.00 vet bill.
Seriously these people will keep your pet alive as long as they can keep a hand in your wallet.
