| - This hotel does not deserve a star. I slept in room 106 and as I stepped in, the stench was over powering! Smelled like mold, arm pits and wet carpet that was not dried out. So i left the room but turned on the AC to full blast. And that helped, somewhat to mask the smell.
I returned from dinner and went straight to bed. Woke up at 6am and walked passed the foot of the bed and I see blood stains on the blanket! Why do I say blood stains? Being in the military, Ive seen my fair share of blood stained uniforms, some completely soaked thru and some by cuts/bloody nose/menstrual bleeding and so on. I pulled the rest of the blanket off to inspect my bed and I notice holes in the sheets. Normal wear and tear, but still, why did housekeeping make this bed up with these damaged sheets/blanket?
I immediately go to the front desk at approximately 6:05am and the employee said; "You can wait til Management comes in to resolve this, at 8:30am." I told him that i had church at 8am so please have management call me. No call!
I returned at 11:30am to check out and my room was not touched. So I went to the front desk and report my issue and before I could finish, the clerk asked; "how do you want this resolved!? " Really? She did not ask to come and see the evidence. She said the best she can do is take $20 off. What?!
So, i asked to see the Manager and she so happens to walk in, but is in T shirt and Jeans. I tell her my situation and she did not once ask to see the blankets. WTF! I had to ask her to follow me into my room. As we are walking in the jallway, she yells out for Maria, who is cleaning the other rooms, turns to me and says; "this is just for training purposes."
We walk into the room and the manager obviously did not listen to what i was telling her because she walks passed the stain. She looks at the headboard and pillows, something i never mentioned. So I had to point at the bloodstained blanket at the foot of the bed.
She glanced over the stain and pulls just the blanket, rolls it up and says to me;"oh this is just a pizza stain!" tosses it to Maria and she runs out the room. The manager is now talking over me as I am trying to follow Maria and stands in my way. The Manager is saying that she is going to take care of this by taking off $20. I could not get a word in and she speeds walk out the room.
I grab the sheet with holes in it and by the time i reach the front desk, no employee is there. I tried to wait as long as i could, but I had to be on the road by 12pm to reach my next destination in time.
This place is full of crap! The Employees are rude and does not let the guests finish their complaint and the manager works in civilian attire (jeans and t shirt). They have no tact and rooms smells like a wet dog! I emailed corporate about all this and still, no response. Smdh!!
