I gave this place a 5 star because of the food. It would have been a 4.5 or possibly a 4 because of the lack of decor and seating. I was told it's a modern decor but it felt a little more industrial to me. Maybe it's the long dark faux wood tiles on the walls and exposed ventilation system.
Now on to the food. This is tapas bar but also has bento boxes. On tap they have Fat Tire and Stone IPA. They have bottled beers (everything from coors light to Stella to Angry Orchard). There are also cans of soda and a house red and white wines.
I sampled spicy chicken was really good. It's crunchy and covered in a chili sauce with broccoli. Then I sampled what seemed to be a tempura shrimp roll with cream cheese, it was really good. I think the star of the show was the spicy prawns. Soooooo good!!! Spicy but not set your mouth on fire. In my opinion that was the best shrimp I've ever had. The shrimp was butterflied and lightly breaded in what I believe was a tempura batter then tossed with this delicious sauce. We ordered just the shrimp and white rice.
The owner Ryan said that his food is a Korean Japanese fusion. Everything I had was very tasty. I would suggest getting the spicy prawns so flavorful and just yummy!!!! If you love heat get the fiery noodle. That is too hot for my pallet.
