  • Wow, I enjoy a good cup of coffee as much as the next coffee-drinker, but I wasn't expecting to be so happy with a cuppa dark roast and a blueberry muffin. Since this place is so highly rated, I wanted to start out with something much more basic than a latte or a cappuccino, because if a place can't get a simple cup of coffee right, I don't care much about anything else they do. I'm so happy that I wasn't disappointed in either the drink OR the pastry. That muffin was outta sight! Perfect amount of blueberries, not too dry or too moist to the point of tasting under-done. As it was foretold, this place was full of people on laptops, and I was no exception. (I needed to kill some time between an appointment and an event, ok?) So it was nice to see them lean into it and provide plenty of outlets. Also? Pricing is VERY reasonable. My only qualm is that, yeah, this place is rather dark. And I wouldn't cross town to find the almost nonexistent street parking to come here, but I'm in the area on a semi-regular basis for salon appointments and may make it a point to stop in after!
