  • I hate to write a negative review, but the world of pet owners need to beware of this company through my personal story. My English Bulldog was having difficulties breathing, with vomiting. I took him to a local vet, and he prescribed antibiotics, gave him fluids, antinausea etc, sent us on our way. A couple hours later I called that vet and told him my dog's breathing is worse, and he told me to go straight to a Vet ER so he can get immediate assistance. I found the closest place being Blue Pearl in Gilbert, and took him there within 20 minutes. As soon as we stepped into the door, they whisked him off to "stabilize" his breathing. A little while later they came back with an assessment to allow for him to have o2 therapy, blood work, possible drugs that included tranquilizers, epinephrine, IV fluids,.. all for the bargain price of 362$ which they wanted upfront.. Of course, do it, and get my dog breathing and stable! An hour later they came back and said, OK, we have to give more assessments by monitoring him all night, more blood work, IV all night, 02 therapy all night xrays, antibiotics, and a full page of drugs and procedures at the cost of an additional $1700. They never told me what was wrong with him, and I requested that they just do an xray ( since they already were supposed to do a blood panel in the initial pmt) and obviously something were wrong with his lungs. The doctor seemed to be very annoyed that I would not succumb to dishing out an extra 1700 bucks without a diagnosis. They made me pay a second payment for that Xray of 335 bucks. The xray was finally done, and my Bulldog had pneumonia. Extremely worried, I figured out that I need to have him stay over night, and dish out the rest of the 1700 as suggested by a Vet. My whole family and I wanted to see him before we departed, but they said they had to do a shift change and to wait a few minutes and of course they made us pay the remainder of the bill for the 3rd time. Ok, waited.. then someone came up to us to bring us back and there is my Bulldog, standing in a cage, NO oxygen, NO IV, and just simply caged up breathing even worse than when I brought him in... 3 hours later! Nothing was done to my dog at all! NOTHING except the xray. NOTHING that they said they were going to do to stabilize him was done in my initial 362 bucks.I asked WHY was my dog not on an IV, why not on 02. The Dr had HORRIBLE beside manners, she did not give 2 cents about our family, our dog, or our concerns of why I was being charged all the fees, especially to have his breathing stabilized, when NOTHING had been done for hours. We asked numerous people why he did not even have an IV in, and excuse from person 1) they removed it because we were going to visit him, and put him in another cage prior to us coming back to see him 2) It blew out of his arm 3) it fell out, yes the Dr exclaimed my dog's IV fell out of his arm. I asked why he did not have oxygen and they said his numbers improved. I asked to see his chart, and they never provided me one, and never had anyone give specifics on what that even meant. He was WORSE than when we took him in, as he received ZERO care. I demanded a refund for everything except for the 335$ Xray, as that was the only thing they could actually produce that was shown they did. I am emotionally spent, exhausted, and still so worried about my dog. We took him home, as there is no way in the world anyone should trust their beloved family members with a practice like this... it is totally fraudulent. The ONLY good thing about it was the Director had compassion enough to give us a refund for what we paid for and did not receive, and his demeanor was super professional in the process. He was the only transparent person there, after the fact, that showed true professionalism, especially while dealing with a very sad, scared, upset family. Vet hospitals like this need windows for owner to actually see what is going on behind the scene-- instead the beloved pet is whisked away, with bills being pushed in front of your face. My poor dog is still just as sick, and hopefully we can find a decent, place that actually gives proper, honest medical attention to him. I wish I would have watched closer the whole time he was there just sitting in a cage unable to breathe properly so I could have pulled him out sooner! Had my dog gotten proper care, was suffer free, I would have gladly paid a million ( if I had it!).
