  • One of the best steakhouses in Vegas. Ive been to Charlie Palmer, The Steak House, Rosewood Grill but Strip Steak so far has won me over. I ordered the Wagyu Ribeye Cap. It was the best steak I have ever had. I got a Kobe steak (forgot what cut) at Charlie Palmer which was amazing but for some reason the Wagyu Ribeye Cap at Strip Steak was better. I got it medium rare and it came out perfect, at first glance it looked like an ordinary steak but once I cut into the steak I knew I was in for a treat, it was moist and jam packed with flavor! My gf usually gets the regular rib eye which is amazing as well but in a different way. What turned me on to this place was the price, after browsing many steakhouses in Vegas, Strip Steak had the cheapest Wagyu steaks. =) In addition to great steaks, their sides are pretty good as well. They also seem to always give you the duck fat fries which as others mentioned compliments of the chef. All I care is that they are free and very tasty too, they come with 3 very different dipping sauces. One of the sauces is basically ketchup, another is almost like a peppery bbq sauce and my favorite was the truffle sauce. I never knew fries could be so good with this sauce. Also if you order the iced tea, you get a cool mini pitcher of sweetner to add to your tea. My gf and I thought that was pretty cool and made the iced tea taste better than adding splenda or equal. Bottom line is this place is great and the price is just right. I will be eating here every time I'm in Vegas.
