One of the best BBQ joints for food. They need to work on cleaning the place. Chairs are cloth and filthy. Tables are family style so you have to be ok eating with new friends. And they need to send someone out regularly to wipe them down.
We had combo ribs plate $17.99 with Mac and cheese side, also a trio meat with 2 x's brisket and spare ribs $14.00 with beans. Ordered a Full slab of Baby backs to go $28.00 It said that every plate came with a dinner roll and a drink. They didn't put the roll on. I questioned the guys delivering the food they said "no" it doesnt. I re read the board and ask the girl at the register she says "yes". When they deliver the rolls the explanation is that there is a menu change coming. OK I get that. Use a piece of tape and cover the roll if your not giving it out anymore.
Here's my advice. You charge alot for the food don't be short sighted. The roll is pennies on each plate.
I and many others ( long line behind and in front of me) do not mind paying prices if the food is good. Give something away on the plate (roll). One of the guys tried to sell me that the slice of bread that my food was on was the roll?
Look down the road at longevity and you will see if you penny pick people no matter how good the food is we won't come back.
I again will say some of the best BBQ I have had hands down but they have some kinks to work out.
