  • First and LAST experience with Discount Tire. I got 4 new tires in mid-April 2015 at this location. Shortly afterwards, I noticed that somehow during installation they had damaged my alloy rims. The clear coat had been stripped on the front two rims. This is NOT a damage that already existed on my vehicle, I am the original owner of the car and keep it in pristine condition. So i am very aware of the ins and outs of it. I decided to take my vehicle back down to this location to show them the damage that had occurred. Two technicians took a look at the vehicle and were certain that nothing there could have caused such damage. But no one had worked on my car since that day so I KNEW it was something they had done and of course did not want to admit it...looks like a chemical damage. I believe that they had chemicals on their hands that caused this damage. I asked to speak to the manager, Chuck Gibbs. Now THIS is where the 1 star comes in. This guy is the scum of the earth. Words cant express what a terrible human being this person is. First, he did not even acknowledge me or ask my name. He walked right past me in the shop and out to my car when his employee told him i wanted to speak with him. Rude. He took a look at the rims and then started belittling me out in the parking lot. And I quote what he said to me, "Listen to your story, why would only 2 of your rims be damaged and not all of them? makes no sense. this is nothing we caused, I dont know what you want me to do here". As a woman, I was incredibly taken aback that someone would speak to me this way. I simply wanted Discount Tire to take accountability for a chemical damage they certainly caused and fix the problem. The VP of this particular location got involved, he was no joy either. I could write a novel telling the rest! All in all, save yourself a headache and steer clear of Discount Tire Chandler, maybe avoiding all Discount Tires would be a good idea. Management is a joke and the employees don't know what they are doing if they caused this kind of damage (see my photo!). Chuck Gibbs, I hope you read this :)
