  • Decided to try this new deli this past weekend. Not impressed. They were quite busy but are NOT able to handle things when it does get busy. We were told it would take 15 minutes for a pizza, which was fine. 25 minutes later we asked about our order because we had seen others getting their food who had come in 10/15 minutes after us. My husband sat and watched them then scramble to make our pizza and sandwich. The owner came back and lied, that's what makes me more angry than anything, that it was just taking longer for things to come out. I've worked in restaurants, when you screw up just admit it instead of trying to cover it up. I would have been much more happy if she just would have said "I'm sorry we lost your order", or whatever the truth was. Because she lied, I will not go back. I will continue to go to my other favorite restauarants on Main St. The Au Jus for the Italian beef sandwich tasted like salt, it was so salty it was not edible. The pizza was decent but as I said, the owner had to lie and that's just not cool. Will not go back, will definitely not recommend.
